i just wanted to take the time to share some of the things i love about my new home.  Often times i find myself walking around from room to room just looking.  There is still so much I’d like to do, but honestly I’m in no rush.

  2. Okay Shannon, I’ve gotta come visit! There are so many great features listed in your blog. I’m very happy for you. I have a friend who loves to say that people should fall in love with their homes! I second that motion.

I love the colors in my home, most of which I painted with friends, so they bring back very special memories. I love the calming lavender color of the master bedroom and bathroom; the vibrant yellows and oranges of the living/dining/kitchen areas; the view from the bay window in the kitchen; the sun early in the morning in the prayer room as I sit in the rocking chair and read the Word. Home! There’s no place quite like it!

    • Alison! I completely agree with you and your friend. You are welcome to visit anytime. Your home sounds heavenly and I’m in love with your color choices! I have not yet picked out a place for my bible reading, right now it’s just in bed, but having a designated place sounds lovely.

There’s no place like home! :)
