Why do you blog and do you make money? Well, it’s cheaper than therapy, lol just kidding! I discovered blogging a few years ago. I have always loved to write and share about what I love. So therefore I blog. My first love is to write, but if I can earn an income from doing it, then I will work at it.
What is your nationality? I’m Native American & Black. I have been told that I look many different races. My favorite is that I look Hawaiian.
How long have you been a Christian? I gave my life to Jesus Christ in 1996 and was baptized when I was pregnant with my son. I think that’s kinda cool. Best decision I ever made. I will blog about my testimony soon.
Do you really love coffee that much? YEP, and YEP. Truthfully my husband starting me on this path of addiction. I always thought coffee would turn my teeth brown. However, as much as I love coffee, I really love the way it smells, looks and the experience. I said it was an addiction.
Who designs your blog? The real question should be who puts up with my perfectionism… I have been blessed to have a life long friend who is an amazing web/blog designer. And for the record, she suffers from the same condition I have.
Is everything blog material? It depends on who you ask. My family would say NO, but you’re asking me, so the answer is absolutely. But I must say that my blog is to encourage and uplift. I would never blog about my family or anyone else in a negative way…. I hope.
Do your children really get along together? Thankfully, yes. We have a rule in our home/family that everyone lives at peace with one another and puts others before themselves. We taught both kids at a young age that they are each other’s best friend. No one should ever come before your sister or brother, besides your parents and until you get married. Now have they ever argued?? Of course they have & do, they’re kids.
Do you ever wear your hair down? Haha, you guys crack me up! Rarely. I’m a very simple girl and straightening these curly locks to wear it down is just not as simple as I’d like it to be. So you and my family get to see it down on very special occasions, or whenever I’m feelin’ it.
What’s with your love of basketball/Jayhawks? Well I was raised in a family that were very intense Kansas Jayhawk Basketball Fans. My mom started me and my sister playing basketball at an early age and we played on up into high school. It truly is my favorite sport to watch and play. Thank God my son has the same playing love, so I can continue to enjoy it.
How did you and your husband meet? We went to rival high schools and we seen each other at a dance after a football game. Honestly, I seen him a year prior to us meeting and I said to my BFF “I’m going to marry him.“
Does your son lift weights? I love it when I get this question! Surprisingly, he doesn’t. At least he hasn’t before he entered high school and he’s a freshman. The kid was blessed with those muscles. Every man (that I know of) on my husband’s side has the same muscular build. He’s always been very athletic and active.
Does Breezy ever get mad? Umm, yes, but not very often. It’s kinda like when someone who never talks finally has something to say…. everybody listens! She’s the sweetest person I know, never has a bad word to say about anyone, but when she’s mad, it’s usually not at someone, but some injustice.
What is your design style? I ‘m assuming from my pics you’ve seen my brightly colored walls. My style is whatever I see and I like it. I’m modern, colorful, but have taken a liking to shabby chic (Breezy’s favorite). You can keep up with my style on Pinterest.
Where did you get the name of your blog? I am a bible believing Christian and I wanted my blog to reveal my faith. Her Cup Runs Over is part of the scripture Psalm 23:5-6 ”My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” My life is a testimony of God’s goodness and mercy. My “cup” is an example of my life and all of the blessings that make it overflow or “run over”. And well, you already know how I feel about coffee so it was a perfect analogy!
